Coffeeroyale was formed in 1999 by Neil & Juliet Hornby of Neath, West Glamorgan with the assistance of the South West Wales Information Gateway (SWWIG) project, an EC funded initiative to help small businesses in the Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot areas, develop an e-commerce presence via the internet. Since formation, our business has diversified from selling solely coffee beans to including coffee machines and espresso coffee pods from Italy, and more recently, to streamlining our operation into the niche market of flavoured coffee beans and 44mm espresso coffee pods (ESE - Easy Serving Espresso).

Our ranges of ESE coffee pods increased to five brands in the formative years until approximately two years ago, when we chose the two best-selling brands. Recently, following weeks of trials and sampling, we introduced a new brand name, Caffe Izzo of Naples which has more diversity within the brand and sells alongside our other longstanding brand Caffe Bravi of Rome. We now stock four regular and one decaffeinated pod. Over the years, our espresso pods have proved extremely popular with customers as far afield as Australia, USA, France, Denmark to name just a few, although 90% of our customer base is located in the UK. We also supply airline catering suppliers based at Heathrow Airport with espresso pods for their business class passengers.

The popularity of our range of flavoured coffee beans has increased year on year since it's inception in 2001. We now supply our products nationwide aswell as to various parts of the European Union.
